Content Policy
What ArtPass Is For
ArtPass is a licensed art asset marketplace for professional and semi-professional artists selling original human-made work. The platform is designed for promotional and commercial use cases including conventions, events, restaurants, retail, music, and entertainment.
Pack Submission Standards
Required for all packs
- All art must be entirely human-made. AI-generated art in any form is prohibited.
- All submitted work must be original and created by the submitting artist.
- Creation proof is required on every submission. If you made it you can show it.
- PNG files must be 300 DPI minimum with transparent backgrounds.
- Every pack must include at least one customizable PSD or Canva template.
- Pack descriptions must accurately represent the contents.
Prohibited pack content
- Sexually explicit or lewd content of any kind
- Graphic gore, torture, or gratuitous violence
- Content that depicts or sexualizes minors in any way
- Hate speech, racial slurs, or content that targets any group
- Copyrighted characters, logos, or IP without documented licensing
- Art generated by AI tools including Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and similar
- Stolen or plagiarized work
- Content designed to harass, threaten, or intimidate
Mature content
Horror themes, dark aesthetics, and stylized violence appropriate for entertainment and event promotion are permitted. The standard is whether the content is appropriate for a promotional flyer or event poster. If it would be refused by a print shop it will be refused by ArtPass.
Commission Request Standards
What commissions are for
Commission requests are for legitimate commercial art projects including event posters, promotional flyers, social media assets, branding elements, and character designs for business use.
Prohibited commission requests
- Requests for sexually explicit or lewd artwork
- Requests for graphic gore or extreme violence
- Requests involving minors in any romantic or sexual context
- Requests designed to defame, harass, or impersonate real individuals
- Requests for counterfeit materials or trademark violations
- Requests that reference illegal activities
Off-Platform Contact Policy
This includes email addresses, phone numbers, external website links, social media handles, payment app usernames (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle), Discord usernames, and any other means of direct contact intended to bypass the platform.
First offense results in a warning and content removal. Second offense results in account suspension. Third offense results in permanent ban.
Artists may include their professional website and social media in their public profile bio as general portfolio references. This is permitted. Using those links to solicit or complete transactions outside ArtPass is not.
Dispute and Resolution Policy
Buyers may open a dispute within 14 days of purchase if pack contents do not match the description, files are corrupted or incomplete, or the purchase was made fraudulently. Commission disputes may be opened at any stage of an active commission. See the full resolution process at Terms of Service.
Enforcement
- Warning — First offense for minor violations. Content removed, account flagged.
- Suspension — Repeat violations or single serious violations. Account locked pending review.
- Permanent ban — Severe violations or repeated suspension offenses. No appeal.
- Legal referral — Content involving minors, fraud, or criminal activity is referred to law enforcement.
Reporting Violations
To report a pack, artist, buyer, or commission request that violates this policy use the contact page and select Report a Violation as the topic. Include as much detail as possible. All reports are reviewed by the admin team within 48 hours.
